Informational Meeting - Builder's for Christ (Building a church in Massachusetts this summer!)
Our church has been so blessed by the ministry of Builder’s for Christ. Countless volunteers flocked to Eau Claire, WI to help us build our new church building. We are forever grateful!
Join us as we pay it forward to the next church that will be built by Builder’s for Christ. This summer they will be building an addition on to Hope Chapel in Sterling, Massachusetts. Check out the Building Plans!
We will be sending a team of people to participate in this build. Please join us as we begin to plan out our summer trips to Massachusetts. There will be an INFORMATIONAL MEETING on SUNDAY, JAN. 26th from Noon - 12:30pm after services at Haven Church. Please plan on attending if interested in learning more.

Haven Church has agreed to help them with groceries and warm meals during the week of February 16th - 22nd.

Mission Trip to Build a Home
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of your life!

Haven Church is excited to go on our 3rd mission trip. Join us on this journey! All are welcome. We hope you join us and bring your family or a friend! We will be building a house for a family in need. If we get enough people to sign up, then we will be helping add on to a church in need as well!
We will be having an informational meeting on Sunday, Jan. 19th at noon (room 3) after worship at Haven Church.

First Communion Class
Do you have a middle school student who is desiring to learn more about communion? We are excited to offer this one-day class to educate them on the importance of communion.
Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.

1st Bible Class
We love seeing children “on fire” for their faith! Think back to how exciting it was to receive your first Bible. Join us in helping educate our 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students about the Bible.
This is a two-weekend class designed to encourage our young leaders to start understanding and reading the Bible. They will receive a new Bible and will learn some history and tips for reading. Parents should plan on attending. Can’t make it to both classes? Let us know.

Haven Kids - Christmas Song in Worship
Haven Kids are excited to join together with the congregation in praising Jesus through song and worship!

Sunday, December 22nd at both 9:00 & 10:45 worship services.
Please have your children checked in and in programming early.
We will be walking into worship at roughly 9:05am and 10:50am.
The children will join with the congregation as they march into the sanctuary while singing and ringing bells! The kids will be practicing this song on Sundays leading up to worship. If you have time in your busy schedule, please play this song so that they get more familiar with it.

Gingerbread House Night
Haven Church is so excited to offer your children the opportunity to create their very own Gingerbread houses!
On Wednesday, December 18th our Elementary, Middle & High School students will be enjoying an evening full of Gingerbread fun.
There are many items that go into this event. We decided to see if instead of asking children to bring money for it, would you consider donating some candy and items for others to use?
We are expecting around 120-150 children to participate. Elementary will be participating as individuals and Middle & High School as groups.
Would you please sign up to help bring items for our Gingerbread house event? If possible, please bring your items in before Wednesday, December 18th. If not, then please bring them to the event.

Babysitting Pajama Party (8th Grade Girls - Mission Project)
The Christmas season is almost here and there is a lot to prepare for! Our 8th Grade Girls are excited to give you a chance to do some Christmas shopping & wrapping! Our middle school youth are thrilled to plan a Pajama party for your kids.

After breakfast, bring your children in their pajamas and let the 8th grade girls prepare a morning of fun for them! Christmas movie, snack, art time are just a few of the fun activities that they will enjoy. You can then have the morning to prepare and rest before you pick them up at noon for lunch.

Confirmation Ceremony
Come and support the 2023/24 8th Graders as they participate in this year's Confirmation Ceremony.
It will be held at Haven Church’s new building on Saturday, Nov. 9th at 11am.
There will be a walk through at 10am for the confirmation class to attend.

Hospitality Training
We are excited to soon move into our new church building! We know that the church is more than a building. It’s the community of believers that gather! Will you help us learn and grow in ways that we can welcome new visitors that will be coming to our church?

We Care Eau Claire - Back to School Event
Haven Church is excited to partner with local churches on a back to school event for families in the ECASD in need. The event is called We Care Eau Claire - Back to School Event and will be held at Phoenix Park on Monday, August 19th from 4-7pm.
At this time, we are asking that you consider purchasing a brand new/quality backpack. All backpack donations can be brought to Haven Church by Sunday, August 11th.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive

Last year, the First Annual PB&J Drive helped stock the shelves of Feed My People Food Bank in the Eau Claire area. A total of approximately 6,000 pounds of peanut butter and jelly were collected across Wisconsin! That’s enough PB&J to make over 96,000 sandwiches and reach a height of 1.38 miles when stacked on top of each other.
This August, there is once again a community food drive to collect peanut butter and jelly! Our goal is to provide Feed My People with one of their most requested products that is high in protein and shelf stable. The Drive will run from 8/1/2024 through 8/31/2024.
Vacation Bible School
We are excited to offer Vacation Bible School again this summer! Your kids, neighbors, friends and grandkids will love spending their week with us at Haven Church! All 4K through 5th grade children (2024/25 school year) are welcome to attend.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Junior Sports Camp
Haven Church is a supporter of our local chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Our students are encouraged to participate in their activities and we are confident that they will grow closer to Jesus through their experience!

Men's Church League Softball
Some of you have been part of our Haven Church Men's Softball in the past. Others are hearing about it for the first time. It is a great way to meet other families and have fun on the ball field. If you are a wife of someone that might enjoy this, then please pass this along to them!
This is a low stress church league where you compete against other churches throughout the summer on Monday evenings.
The games take place at either Carson Park or Stein/Bollinger Fields in the evenings.
The league costs $500 per team. We ask that you contribute $20-$40 for a jersey and to cover our league fee.

7th Grade Boys - Mission Project (Beacon House)
Haven Church loves serving others in the Eau Claire community! The 7th grade boys have chosen to support the non-profit Beacon House.
Beacon House helps families by providing a short-term place to stay and a warm meal. They are able to house 4-6 families (20 people) while they get themselves ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives. The 7th grade boys would like to provide these families with a warm meal this Saturday, April 27th.
Can you help by providing groceries for a warm meal (enough for 20 people) that will be served by the 7th grade boys at 5:30pm?
The meals should be brought to Beacon House (309 E. Lake St.) during the afternoon leading up to the meal (noon-5pm). The meal will be served at 5:30pm, their staff can reheat it if needed. Please call the BEACON HOUSE (715-834-4357) and let them know when you are coming.

Palm Sunday
Join us as we celebrate the start of Holy Week by raising our palm branches! Palm branches will be available as we shout “Hosanna” to the King!
The children of Haven Church will be invited to parade into the worship area while joining the congregation in song. You are invited to practice and play this song around your children so that they can sing along! Children will also be practicing this song in Sunday School as well.
6th Grade Girls Mission Project
The 6th grade girls of Haven Church are excited to plan a way to help Haven Church’s missionaries in Papua New Guinea. The Morris family has been living in Papua New Guinea for about one year now. They took a leap of faith and left the comforts of the United States to pursue a life as medical missionaries.
They have discovered that supplies that are common for us in the United States can be very hard to come by there. Simple items such as baby formula can be very difficult to find in the remote areas of Papua New Guinea that they are working in.
The shipping cost for us to send items to them would be astronomical compared to the price of purchasing these items nearby. The sixth grade girls have interacted with the Morris family and would like to raise money for them to purchase these supplies.
Would you consider donating money towards this cause?
If so, please bring cash/check to Haven Church (re: Morris Family) to donate.
The girls will be holding this fundraiser from March 10th through April 7th.
