Haven Church loves serving others in the Eau Claire community.  We would like to support the non-profit Beacon House.  Beacon House helps families by providing a short-term place to stay and a warm meal.  They are able to house 4-6 families while they get themselves ready to move on to the next chapter of their lives.  Haven Church has agreed to help them with groceries and warm meals during the weeks of July 3-9 & July 24-30.

Can you help by providing groceries for breakfast OR a warm meal that will be served at 5:30pm?

A warm meal should include an entree, salad, veggie, bread and dessert.  These meals can be homemade or purchased from a local restaurant/grocery store.  Some people might be interested in working together with others to prepare the meal.  Please sign up and then work to coordinate others to help you if that is of interest.  When you sign up, please list the entree so that other people won't duplicate meals.  The meals should be brought to Beacon House (309 E. Lake St.) during the afternoon leading up to the meal.  The meal will be serve at 5:30pm, their staff can reheat it if needed.

All groceries for breakfast should be brought to Beacon House (309 E. Lake St.) on the Friday (1st, 22nd) leading up to the week of July 3rd or July 24th.  This will ensure that breakfast will be available for the families during the week.

 If the volunteers providing meals want to stay to serve, clean up and visit with the families that is an option but not required.
